I just left the Westbrook Market after scrounging up money to buy milk, eggs, and a can of Chicken Noodle Soup. The kid in front of me, a rather tall one, in his late twenties, had an Apple Strudel and two Milky Way Bars on the counter. The girl at the register asked: "Is that all"? He nodded and then whipped out his Access Card, you know, the one that equates to Food Stamps? Both myself and the guy behind me rolled our eyes, not believing what we just saw. Ok, some may say your jealous Ward. Yep, maybe I am. You see, I work for a living, to rent a home, to put food on our table, and maybe, just maybe, buy a few Christmas presents for our Children & Grandchildren. So to see this BUM in my book, (He was as healthy as an ox and drove away in a nice Dodge Charger), buy junk food is beyond belief. He most likely has free Healthcare, whereas I just lost mine due to non payment of my Premiums. I am very ill here with a nasty flu compounded by COPD. Rant Over.

Sunday In Drexel Hill

What a day straight out from the pages of HELL. Some twenty - five  year old wants to rip me outta my truck because I had told his Grandma " Thank You" ? on her compliment on me maneuvering my truck out of an alley?

Seriously,  I told the punk that he misunderstood and to get his head outta his ass. That when he grabbed the door and tried to yank me out. Being the fifty-four year old I am, COPD and all, I moved up a few feet and told him to come on bitch, do it again.

I thought everything from shooting the prick in the head to calling on the "Boys" to come back, As I ain't capable to take on a big galute such as he.

So, I just did the best thing I could.
 I told Him to have a nice day, And tell your Mommy that Franny Ward said hello, and that I miss her tender kisses.
